What’s new in iOS 12.2 beta 4?

Earlier today, Apple has released the fourth developer beta of iOS 12.2. Like every other developer betas, Apple brings several new user changes to the mix.

iOS 12.2 beta 4 changes and features

  • New icon for Apple News app.
  • New glyph for Apple TV remote in Control Center.
  • New animation when invoking Apple TV remote in CC.
  • New remote glyph for Apple TV remote in Airplay 2 interface.
  • New Wi-Fi prompt when invoking Apple TV remote when not connected to Wi-Fi.
  • New volume controls for Apple TV.

Like the previous beta, the fourth release focuses more on Apple TV remote shortcut, including new icons, new glyphs and the ability to quickly connect to Wi-Fi in order to use the remote.

The biggest feature so far for iOS 12.2 was the first beta release. That release included four new Animoji characters, as previously noted.
