Today’s WWDC 2019 keynote will be livestreamed in selected Apple Stores

The annual WWDC keynote 2019 in San Jose is today and is one of the most anticipated events for developers, designers and fans of the Apple community. Having to be in an event like that is a rich experience for the fans, but many can’t join the party. Apple will stream WWDC’s opening keynote on June 3rd to select Apple Stores around the world in order to help more people join the experience.

The WWDC keynote livestreams have begun since the last year and have turned into a new tradition after a small test. Like previous years, there is no Today at Apple page to check if your store is hosting a livestream. Attendees can stop in without signing up online first. A big amount of stores have nothing scheduled in their calendars during keynote time, which may indicate if it’s a participating location. Apple’s page shows what’s upcoming near you.

If you want to join the event, it is highly recommended to call ahead and ask about availability before making that trip. For those who are wondering if they can watch the livestream at their local Apple Store, only locations with video walls and Forum seating are available for livestreaming. In the U.S., stores in MassachusettsKansasTexasOregonand two in both Nevada and Ohio have added video walls in 2019 alone, so it’s worth a look if you haven’t been to your local store recently. The easiest way to check is by searching for your store in the Apple Store iOS app and taking a look at the store photo to spot a video wall.

If there’s no Apple Store near you, you can watch the Keynote on Apple’s website as always. TechDomes will have a full coverage on WWDC throughout the week from San Jose. You can share your photos on our Twitter if you attend an Apple Store livestream. The WWDC keynote 2019 event will begin at 10:00 A.M. PT.
