Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot Review

With MachineGames at the helm, Wolfenstein has enjoyed a resurgence during the last couple of years. Wolfenstein has managed to captivate with its strong characters and intriguing world-building, giving you a glimpse into an alternate future where the rules are rewritten and whole new terrifying possibilities are waiting to be explored. None of this is present in the series’ first venture into VR, however. Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot isn’t just lacking the elements that make its universe intriguing, but it’s also dated by recent VR standards, with flat, unexciting action and little reason to return after one short playthrough.

NBA Live 20 delayed until the end of 2019

Electronic Arts has yet to officially announce NBA Live 20, this year’s installment in its troubled simulation basketball franchise, but on Tuesday, the publisher quietly delayed the game into the last quarter of the year.

GTA V and Red Dead Redemption publisher accused of tax avoidance

Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption publisher Rockstar Games has been accused of tax avoidance in a new report. Investigative thinktank Tax Watch UK states in its report that Rockstar’s combined companies paid zero corporation tax in the United Kingdom between 2009 and 2018, despite lifetime sales of Grand Theft Auto V totaling an estimated US $6 billion.

The tease of the fan-favorite location was revealed during the Fortnite World Cup Solo Finals, where commentators CouRageJD, and Dr. Lupo got to show off an image from the new season.

Minecraft releases 1.14.4 version with new updates

There’s a new version of the Java version of Minecraft. The 1.14.4 patch contains a lot of bugfixes for the Villagers and Pillagers update, which Mojang described as Minecraft’s biggest update ever. As always there’s some entertaining stuff hidden in those bugfix notes, my favorite being “Villagers will now remember their gossip after becoming a Zombie Villager”. And “Gossip about players who converted a zombie villager will now last longer” isn’t bad either.
