2019 iPhone 11 models show up in Eurasian database

Like clockwork the past few years, Apple devices have been showing up in the Eurasian Economic Commission regulatory database ahead of their official announcement and release.

The 2019 iPhones have just appeared in this database with model numbers A2111, A2160, A2161, A2215, A2216, A2217, A2218, A2219, A2220, A2221, and A2223.


Huawei propagandists attacking Apple tweets from iPhone

Both Apple and Huawei are crossing their swords in US and China as tensions have grown over the last few weeks. A ‘Boycott Apple’ movement has gained followers in China, and many people in the country are singing the praises of the local tech giant Huawei, while Trump has banned the company’s products. The last example is a Chinese diplomat who has attacked Apple on Twitter saying Huawei has “cut Apple into pieces” but hilariously, he did it from an iPhone.


Portland Apple Store reopening May 31st with new video wall

After months of renovations, Apple is preparing to reopen their store in Portland, Oregon with a new look. Apple Pioneer Place will open their gates once more for customers on May 31st at 10:00 A.M. The new store upgrade will include a new Forum, video wall, and more.


Apple unveils WWDC 2019 keynote details

Apple has confirmed with press that its next media event — the opening keynote of WWDC — will take place on June 3rd at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. The keynote will be held in San Jose, California, at the McEnery Convention Center where Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference is held. We don’t expect this keynote to be hardware-packed like WWDC 2017, but we do anticipate a major hardware teaser.


ARM immediately ‘suspends business’ with Huawei

According to a report via the BBC, the UK-based chip designer ARM has informed staff via an internal memo to ‘suspend business’ with Huawei to comply with US trade restrictions.

The latest WhatsApp beta for Android has unearthed a few new features that are actually quite notable. The new ‘Share to Facebook’ function allows you to post your story across WhatsApp and Facebook. The WhatsApp QR code ‘add contact’ functionality will be a real timesaver for adding new contacts. Both features could potentially and hopefully head to a stable release in the not-too-distant future.


Apple announces more powerful 8-core MacBook Pro with updated butterfly keyboard design

Apple has announced today that it is upgrading the MacBook Pro with faster 8th- and 9th-generation Intel Core processors. This revision marks the first time that the MacBook Pro has been available in an 8-core configuration. The new MacBook Pro models also feature a revised keyboard design.


Valve releases Steam chat for Android and iOS

Valve has released a new standalone mobile app incorporating many of the chat features of its desktop client, which underwent a major refresh last year in an attempt to compete with Discord.


Database filing suggests Apple Watch ECG will soon launch in Canada

As it seems Apple has gained clearance for the ECG app for the Apple Watch Series 4. According to the Health Canada database, ECG and irregular heart rate rhythm notifications are listed being approved as of the 16th May. The listings were first reported by the iPhone in Canada blog.
