CD Projekt will be making more Witcher and Cyberpunk games in the future

As it eases into the final push to complete Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red is officially moving to a “dual-franchise model.” That confirms, for both investors and fans, that more games in The Witcher franchise are on the way. The new direction was proudly announced in a financial report issued by the CD Projekt Capital Group covering the first half of 2019.

New Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay gives us more to be excited about in character selection menu

Today CD Projekt Red released a highly edited version of its E3 gameplay demo. This public reveal was also accompanied by a new, detailed breakdown of key game systems, including character creation and hacking. The footage also showed off the game’s use of Nvidia’s ray tracing technology.

Instead of choosing male/female, Cyberpunk 2077 enables the options of body or voice type

For all the positive responses that CD Projekt’s upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 has enjoyed, one area where it hasn’t gone over particularly well is in its portrayal of gender. It was initially designed to be playable as male or female but some critics noted that binary gender delineation falls well short of themes expressed in actual cyberpunk—a shortcoming highlighted by the presence of in-game ads seen by some as transphobic.

Frame rate drops on Remedy’s Control on PS4? This is how to fix it.

If you’ve played Remedy’s Control on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 4 Pro, you’ve likely noticed some performance issues, to put it mildly. As Digital Foundry discovered after conducting a performance test of the game, it’s rough. Like 10FPS rough. New leak may show Apex Legend’s new character and weapon

In Nashville, Tennessee, some players have witnessed the new, unannounced content coming to Respawn’s battle royale game, Apex Legends. Among the surprises include a new character, new weapon, and some Halloween-themed content. The images, which were posted on Reddit, show a presentation of upcoming releases for Apex Legends.

Fallout 76’s buggy new raid drags the game down further

Fallout 76 is in a rough spot. The game’s launch was spectacularly messy, and the following months managed to get worse. It’s only recently that Fallout 76 has been able to establish an identity and carve out a lasting niche in a flood of games as a service. Bethesda’s online take on the Fallout franchise thrives when it focuses on player choice, roleplaying, and customization. When the game tries to introduce World of Warcraft-style combat encounters and MMO gearing, that’s when things promptly go to hell.

Minecraft has new bees — already been made rideable

Minecraft 1.15 update did bring bees in the game, and already a modder has made them rideable. As the modder explains in the video below, with his datapack you can craft saddles to place on the bees as well as flowers on sticks to lead them around. Also, the saddled bees have a dash move now.
