Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is out with a new investore notes this evening. Kuo says that Apple will release new iPads, a new 16-inch MacBook Pro, a 31-inch 6K monitor, iPhones with bilateral charging and more in 2019.

Apple will sell older iPhones back in Germany again

As Apple Inc. AAPL -0.22% said it would bring some phones back in stores in Germany, two months after removing them after it had removed the models because a court ruled here that the smartphone maker had infringed on a patent by Qualcomm Inc. QCOM 0.80% .

Apple releasing iOS 12.2 and watchOS 5.2 developer beta 2 later today

Apple will be releasing the second developer betas of iOS 12.2 and watchOS 5.2 later today. On the first iOS 12.2 developer beta, we found evidence of a new generation of AirPods, the Apple News subscription service, new iPads and iPod Touchand many other changes and improvements.

The release notes for today’s update only mention bug fixes, we’ll update this post if anything interesting can be found on the new beta.

This update may or may not include the fix for the FaceTime eavesdropping bug, which Apple promised to fix on an update to the general public this week, probably iOS 12.1.4.

WhatsApp can now be locked with FaceID or TouchID

Access to WhatsApp iOS app can now be achieved with FaceID or TouchID. It depends on your phone to lock whether you want or not the app via biometric secutiry. This feature was made available with version 2.19.20 of WhatsApp, and can be enabled from the app’s Privacy menu within Account Settings.
